This critical role encompasses both Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Synchronous Condenser operations, requiring expertise in advanced power system technologies that support Ireland's renewable energy integration and grid stability objectives.The successful candidate will ensure optimal system performance, conduct and manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities, monitor system operations through advanced SCADA platforms, and serve as the first line of response for operational issues and emergencies.Key Responsibilities- Primary Operations ManagementMonitor performance of BESS and Synchronous Condenser systems to ensure optimal performance and grid compliance, support real-time operational decision, respond to system alarms, coordinate with EirGrid control room as required.Perform daily checks, parameter verification, and performance analysis to ensure facility is compliant with Grid Code and Service Agreements.
