Job Summary:
This leadership role is responsible for managing project managers and engineers who introduce new products and technologies within a product portfolio. The individual will oversee project and stakeholder management, people management, and technical assessments of assigned projects.
The successful candidate will lead the team to deliver key programs or projects on time, meeting quality requirements within budget constraints. This includes implementing process improvements, leveraging team talent to increase performance and productivity, and being an effective partner across functions to deliver associated new products.
Responsibilities include developing skills matrices in line with product roadmaps, preparing annual budgets, providing direction to the team in complex situations, and ensuring compliance with relevant quality, regulatory, and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field, with 8+ years of engineering, management, or related experience. People management experience is required, and project management experience is preferred.
