As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities within target sectors. You will play a key role in shaping and executing the go-to-market strategy while building strong relationships with senior IT budget holders and C-level stakeholders. You’ll collaborate closely with pre-sales, delivery, and marketing teams to position our solutions as the preferred partner for digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Proactively source and develop new business opportunities across target industries
2. Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads for Cloud Migration, Application Modernization, and Custom Software Development services
3. Develop and execute strategic account plans to win new clients in target sectors
4. Lead consultative sales engagements, presenting tailored solutions that meet client-specific needs
5. Work closely with Marketing to refine positioning and create sector-specific campaigns
6. Collaborate with Delivery and Technical teams to scope projects and ensure client expectations are met
7. Attend and represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, and client meetings
8. Provide market insights and feedback to product and delivery teams to shape offerings
9. Consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales targets and KPIs
Requirements:
* Significant experience in closing enterprise sales, particularly selling digital transformation services or bespoke software to senior stakeholders such as Engineering Managers, Director of Engineering, VPs of Engineering, or CTOs
* Build and nurture long-term relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and driving repeat business
* Understanding of Cloud technologies, Application Modernization, and bespoke software development services
* Proven success selling complex IT services into sectors like Insurance, Fintech, B2B Tech, or TravelTech
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Experience working with technical pre-sales and delivery teams to shape winning solutions
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities, and drive deals through the sales cycle
