Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Quality Lead Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our Operating Theatre Department, you will be responsible for promoting, facilitating and supporting the provision of excellent care for all patients.
As a Theatre Quality Lead Nurse, you will work collaboratively with staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement, driving quality and person-centred care. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall patient experience.
The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, with at least five years' recent relevant post-registration nursing experience in an acute hospital setting. A minimum of two years' experience in Theatre is essential, as well as registration with the NMBI and full work permits.
Key responsibilities include operations/quality improvement and risk management, leadership and management, learning and education. The ideal candidate will have proven clinical and professional management, risk management and clinical audit ability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least five years' recent relevant post-registration nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
* A minimum of two years' experience in Theatre
* Registered with the NMBI and full work permits
* Recognised post-registration nursing course - Higher Diploma or Post Graduate appropriate to the position
