Requirements: ME OR BEng level 8 in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience in R&D or related field Working Knowledge of Solid Works & AutoCAD.
Knowledge of FEA, Ideally ANSYS.
Takes a hands on approach to mechanical testing, building test rigs etc.
EN certification & regulatory compliance knowledge.
Good people and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects through to completion.
Innovative, creative design ability, positive attitude and open minded.
Be willing to travel when there is need.
Full clean Driving licence IRL/UK/EU.
Ability to work safely and apply good housekeeping skills in all areas of work.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Project manage new product development and product improvements collaborating withcross-functional teams as part of the development process.
Execute design, prototyping and testing activities with a focus on the maintenance of accurate documentation.
Record and detail development data including the preparation of technical reports & drawings.
Analyse and review test data to optimise design and product performance based on results from testing.
Conduct research to stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Provide technical support to other teams and departments as needed.
Work effectively in conjunction with other engineers and management.
Liaise with other department functions including technical, engineering and operations.
Report and present updates on project status and timelines.
Ensure compliance with the requirements of ISO ***** Clause 5 sections 5.3.4., the company handbook and Code of Conduct.
Ensure site adherence to and operation of the Compliance Management System responsibilities within ISO ***** Clause 5 sections 5.3.2.
Ensure compliance with the requirements of ISO ****, including CE marking.
Follow the appropriate EN standards and country codes for product development.
Any additional reasonable duties assigned by your line manager that align with your job responsibilities.
