This is a permanent role for an experienced Shop Manager to lead our team in a retail environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist the Store Supervisor in maintaining high street retail standards and professionalism.
* Maintain operational standards consistent with industry norms, ensuring courteous and professional customer interactions.
* Manage staff members, including Sales Assistants and volunteers, and recruit, support, and proactively manage a team of volunteers.
* Ensure a safe working environment for customers, volunteers, and staff, reporting any hazards immediately.
* Maximise merchandising and window display opportunities, ensuring agreed stock management procedures are observed.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, organisational abilities, patience, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. They will be a good team player, able to motivate themselves and colleagues, and inspire the highest standards.
