An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant to join EVE Clubhouse in Kildare, supporting individuals experiencing mental health difficulties within a recovery-focused, community-based setting.
EVE Clubhouse operates under a psychosocial rehabilitation model, promoting social inclusion, independence, and meaningful participation for members. The successful candidate will work closely with service users and the multidisciplinary team to support day-to-day activities, recovery goals, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities of the Healthcare Assistant:
Support members in daily clubhouse activities, including structured programmes and community-based initiatives
Assist individuals in achieving personal recovery goals through encouragement and practical support
Promote social inclusion, independence, and skill development
Work collaboratively with the wider mental health team to support individual care and recovery plans
Support group activities, vocational initiatives, and community integration programmes
Maintain appropriate records and adhere to organisational policies and procedures
Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times
Essential Criteria for the Healthcare Assistants:
Relevant qualification in healthcare support (e.g., QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent)
Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health difficulties
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A recovery-focused and person-centred approach
Desirable Criteria
Experience working in a community mental health or psychosocial rehabilitation setting
Understanding of the recovery model in mental health
Full clean driving licence (if community activities are required)
