Support Worker Role
This role is a key position in our organisation, working directly with young people and contributing to the day-to-day running of our centre. The Support Worker will be responsible for ensuring that the highest quality of care is provided to children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing child-centered support to young people, including consultation, access to records, complaints handling, and contact with families.
* Contributing to the development and implementation of Placement Plans, ensuring that children receive the agreed quality and quantity of services.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including weekly reports, daily updates, and accident reports.
* Ensuring a safe and supportive environment within the centre, adhering to Child Protection Policy and reporting any concerns promptly.
* Providing emotional and specialist support, education, and opportunities for young people.
Requirements:
* A minimum of a Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant equivalent.
* Relevant experience and skills in child-centered support.
* Able to work effectively with children, staff, and other stakeholders.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate will be accountable to the Person In Charge, Deputy Person In Charge, and Shift Team Managers/Social Care Leaders.
