Job Description:

* Support project teams in scoping and specifying asbestos management, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
* Advise on and implement safety legislation related to asbestos and other hazardous materials, contributing to the development of safety training material.
* Ensure proper documentation from contractors and conduct compliant asbestos and other hazardous materials surveys, reviewing technical reports and conducting quality assurance audits.
* Provide technical assistance for monitoring asbestos-containing materials and assess lower-risk asbestos works.
* Manage asbestos removal work, coordinate consultants for demolition projects, and ensure compliance with disposal guidelines.
* Implement quality management systems for hazardous materials, support chemical safety management, and produce comprehensive reports.
* Liaise with key stakeholders, support risk assessment development, and provide advice on complex health and safety issues, including occupational hygiene and Legionella management.

Requirements:

* A full valid driving license and access to a vehicle, with a willingness to travel locally and regionally, as well as internationally if required.
* A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the industry.
* Specialist knowledge of Health, Safety Legislation & Standards.
