Credit Controller We are currently recruiting an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established organisation based in Dublin 9 on a 2-year fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on, onsite role suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy, people-focused environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate accounts and strong customer relationships. Reporting to the Finance Team, you will be responsible for managing credit control activities while delivering a professional and empathetic service to patients, insurers, and internal stakeholders. Salary:€38,000 €40,000 Contract: 2-Year Fixed-Term Contract Location:Dublin 9 Working Model:Fully Onsite Key Responsibilities: Managing daily credit control activities, including recovery of outstanding balances from patients, clubs, and other admitting bodies Proactively engaging with self-paying patients via phone, email, and text reminders to ensure compliance with payment policies Handling patient claims and general queries before and after admission, clearly explaining statements of account, invoices, and receipts Processing monthly refunds accurately and in a timely manner Assisting with daily payments including card payments (phone and online), bank transfers, and EFTs Allocating payments to patient accounts and raising refunds where required Supporting cross-border patient cases (Northern Ireland), ensuring procedures and payments are correctly scheduled and allocated Handling insurance billing and payment queries, and responding to general enquiries by phone and email Verifying insurance cover for procedures and outpatient visits across all insurance providers Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in a Credit Control role Strong computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office and Excel High attention to detail with strong organisational skills Excellent critical thinking and decision-making ability Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Comfortable working independently and as part of a team GDPR experience is an advantage but not essential For more information please apply through the link provided for the attention of Valerie Briody call Osborne Recruitment on or email If you are interested in finding out more about the above role and would like to be considered other suitable roles that we may have available for your skill set please attach your CV via the link provided Please submit your updated CV in Word Format If you are living in Ireland and hold a valid work permit we would love to hear from you, if however you do not hold a valid work permit unfortunately we will not be in a position to assist you with your job search.
