Senior Analytical Specialist
Our client, a leading pharma & biotechnology organisation, is currently recruiting for a Senior Analytical Specialist to join their QC team in their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities Execute analytical procedures in accordance with current corporate specifications and cGMPs, and maintain relevant SOPs.Build and maintain QCL digital systems in collaboration with site and external digital teams.Report results into LIMS and perform testing using automated systems.Participate in the qualification of analytical instruments and their routine maintenance.Develop, validate, and verify new methodologies for new product introductions or process improvements.Recognize atypical assay behavior and common equipment failures.Investigate deviations and record errors as per procedures and training.Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures and participate in incident investigations as required.Maintain an inventory of chemicals and supplies used for analytical testing.Assist in training personnel; as skills develop, may fully train other laboratory staff.Lead or partake in continuous improvement projects, e.g., Six Sigma.Requirements Degree in Analytical Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology) with at least 3 years of pharmaceutical experience.Experience in quality control operations, including immunoassays, qPCR, chromatography, electrophoresis, and spectroscopy.Proficient with multiple instrument platforms (e.g., Agilent, Beckman Coulter, Sciex) and software (e.g., SoftMax Pro, Empower, LIMS/LES).Understanding of Data Integrity in a Digital Laboratory.Strong computer system skills.Experience working in cross-functional teams and decision-making abilities.Skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Proactive, flexible, adaptable, and detail-oriented.Continuous improvement mindset and initiative to work independently.Ability to implement technological and process changes.For more information, please contact Sinéad Cullen at +353879500821 or ******.
