Fund Financial Controller - Hedge Fund - Dublin
A high-performing international investment management group is seeking to appoint a Fund Financial Controller to join its Dublin-based finance team. Operating across multiple jurisdictions, the organisation has built a strong reputation within the alternative investment space and offers a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly analytical working environment.

The Opportunity
Reporting into senior finance leadership, the successful candidate will oversee the accounting, reporting, and financial control environment across a number of international entities. The role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, regulatory compliance, tax, and process improvement initiatives while working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers globally.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee quarterly management reporting and consolidated accounts across multiple entities
Manage balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and financial analysis processes
Oversee accounts payable, cash management, and multi-currency transactions
Coordinate preparation of financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP
Lead year‑end audit processes and liaise with external auditors
Support Irish and international tax compliance activities
Oversee regulatory and corporate compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions
Manage relationships with fund administrators, advisors, and external providers
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, processes, and finance procedures
Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives across finance operations
About You
Fully qualified accountant, ideally Big 4 trained (0‑3 PQE)
Financial services or investment management experience preferred
Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS / US GAAP advantageous)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
Advanced Excel and strong systems skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced international environment
Remuneration:
Strong salary DOE, Bonus 50%+, Pension and Health Insurance.
