We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to work within the Commercial IT team primarily focusing on Run & Change activities and project initiatives within our Product Information Master (PIM) solution Stibo Systems Role Purpose: The Commercial IT Business Analyst is responsible for supporting, delivering and maintaining the exciting IT change initiatives within our core Commercial business function, through discovery, planning, design, implementation, support & maintenance activities. The activities in this role include the following Play an active role in the Commercial IT focused projects throughout the lifecycle of each initiative. This includes gathering of business requirements into detailed analysis and specifications and managing development through to production environments including coordination and execution of testing. Support the delivery of projects and change initiatives, including working on various projects simultaneously, work in collaboration with other Commercial IT Team functions (Engineering, Project Managers, Solution Architects etc) as well as the wider IT function and Commercial business unit function itself. Coordinate the planning and execution of support & maintenance activities for existing IT systems including completing technical and business analyses, managing / coordinating the resolution of incidents and service requests, managing software upgrades and system refreshes and ensuring system environments are stable and available to our end user communities. Engage with relevant 3rd party vendors to ensure delivery plans are kept on track and to ensure delivery of solutions adhere to best practice in an optimal and flexible way to support the change initiative and business needs Encouraged to act in a proactive manner, challenge and be innovative in your thinking and be driven to provide value to our Business Key Relationships: Commercial IT Product Manager Commercial Solution Architect Project Managers Head of Commercial IT PMO Experience, Knowledge, Skills: Strong analytical skills Understanding of software development lifecycles, quality assurance and information security Experience of requirements gathering, analysis, specification, verification and the ability to apply them in practice Understanding of On Premise, hybrid and private/public cloud environments Experience in Product Information management solutions would be advantageous Experience in process engineering/business analysis IT Orientated degree or similar 1 3 years experience in BA role or similar Team and collaboration orientation and good communication skills Understanding of Change management and transformation skills About You: Highly organized, structured and performance driven Innovative in your thinking and a willingness to learn and embrace new and existing technology Personable, proactive, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact and influence effectively at all levels across the business to get initiatives delivered Ability to build and sustain relationships that deliver results and effectively collaborative with diverse teams Able to work effectively in a matrix environment Problem solving
