Compliance governance specialist

The Opportunity


We are seeking a Compliance Governance Specialist to support and protect the organization from sanctions, fines, and reputational damage. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that local operations are conducted in compliance with ethical business practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.



Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Director of Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer in the comprehensive oversight of branches.
* Partner with the business functions and stakeholders to identify Compliance risks and advise measures to address identified control weaknesses.
* Ensure products are designed in accordance with laws and regulations and with company standards.
* Ensure sales meet company requirements for suitability.



Requirements:

* At least 5 years of experience in Compliance or control-related areas, preferably in insurance or financial industry.
* Knowledge of local (Irish & EU) regulatory requirements for financial services business.
* Strong Excel skills and ability to communicate effectively.
* Critical thinking and analytical skills.
* University education and professional qualifications.
