As an automation specialist, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, implementation, maintenance and ongoing support of various manufacturing equipment specific applications and systems in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide end-user technical assistance for small manufacturing equipment applications including troubleshooting issues and effectively communicating items to management, business process owners and users
* Work on equipment ranging from standalone devices such as UV Spectrometers, pH meters, particle samplers to networked equipment like wave rockers, chromatography skids and cell analysers
* Oversee and execute automation preventative maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
* Develop and maintain automation documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and configuration specification documents
* Perform daily business administrative tasks related to functional support and general user account management
* Collaborate with functional departments on projects to develop, implement and enhance systems and processes
* Implement software/hardware changes and upgrades, understanding their impact on manufacturing operations
* Assist prior to, during and post regulatory/partner inspections to ensure compliance
* Support automation change control requests and participate in or lead small manufacturing equipment projects to introduce new equipment or upgrade existing applications
