Job Description:
This is a senior leadership role within the sales department, responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive revenue growth across multiple market segments.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience as Director of Sales & Marketing within quality hotel establishments with group and franchise experience.
Key responsibilities include developing relationships with key clients, leading and coordinating sales activities, and identifying opportunities for PR & media exposure.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic self-starter with strong commercial acumen and judgement, excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, and the ability to present and interpret sales content and analytics at a board level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop relationships with key clients across multiple market segments
* Lead and co-ordinate sales activities
* Identify opportunities for PR & media exposure
* Attract, retain, motivate, coach and develop the Sales teams in high performance and achieving business targets
* Be familiar with the customer database and maintenance of the sales IT infrastructure
* Maximise benefits of International Franchise Agreements
* Manage and control annual sales budget
