Job Overview
Social Care Worker – Permanent (Full-time & Part-time positions available). Salary €39,088 – €56,349 per annum. Responsibilities
As a Social Care Worker at Camphill Communities of Ireland you will support residents and day-attendees to live an ordinary life. You will follow, evaluate and contribute to the development of individual care plans, and assist with daily living activities, ensuring compliance with current policy and sector standards.
Qualifications
Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
CORU registration or proof of application in progress.
Have at least 1 year of experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
Understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
A full driver’s licence and availability of own car.
