Accounts Assistant
The Osborne Finance and Accounting team is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a leading organization within the exhibition and trade show sector. As a skilled and trustworthy individual with the ability to implement and develop strong procedures, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of the finance functions, including implementing controls, analysis, and reporting structures.

Responsibilities
1. Receive, process, and obtain sign-off approval on all AP invoices
2. Code invoices to appropriate P&L cost centre
3. Post invoices and prepare for weekly payment run
4. Set up payments and expense payments
5. Post and cost company credit card transactions
6. Ensure VAT receipts are on file for all expenditure
7. Prepare sales invoices as necessary
8. Post AR cash daily
9. Prepare supplier setup forms
10. Follow up on unpaid AR as necessary
11. Assist in the preparation of bi-monthly VAT returns and quarterly VIES returns
12. Assist CFO in preparing monthly management accounts
13. Liaise with third-party providers and suppliers as necessary
Requirements
* Relevant qualification
* Minimum of 4 years accounts experience
* Very strong technical accounting skills
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work
* Ability to work independently and take direction accurately
* Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
* High level of accuracy and work ethic
* Analytical thinker and problem solver
* Trustworthy and discreet with confidential information
