Project – Industrial & Pharmaceutical
Job Location – Kildare
Salary – €55K - €70K + vehicle
About the Company
Working with a reputable Main Contractor who have a number of ongoing industrial projects across the Leinster region.
This role will be based in Co. Kildare on an exciting new project for a high-profile client. The project is Live with min 1 year left however future work will be exclusively Kildare.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience as a Health & Safety Professional working on pharma/ data centre projects with a Main Contractor.
Excellent opportunity for an ambitious construction professional who is keen to progress into a management role down the line.
The Role
* Report into the Health & Safety Manager
* Keep staff aware of Health & Safety policies and procedures
* Communicate with Senior Management and Site teams on Health and Safety requirements for site
* Uphold PPE Stocks, ensuring staff are well equipped for site work
* Maintain the promotion of Health and Safety on site and its presence
* Carry out method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
* Organise site visits, assessments and reporting
* Provide information to support pre-qualification requirements for various clients
Job requirements
* Health & Safety Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years’ experience working with a Main Contractor in ROI
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the Pharmaceutical / Industrial sector in ROI
* Full Driving License
* NEBOSH/ IOSH certification desired
* Construction Management Degree or similar
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* Ability to use Microsoft Office
