The opportunity
In response to climate change and sustainability challenges, EY is seeking high-performing, innovative and enthusiastic candidates to join our growing team of climate change and sustainability finance professionals who help global organisations identify, measure, deliver and report on climate and sustainability issues to create long-term value for business. You will join EY Financial Service’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services team (CCaSS) with focus areas including climate change, sustainability assurance and advisory, regulatory navigation, and creating long-term value. Opportunities exist to work across focus areas within the wider business.
Role and responsibilities
This role places you at the heart of a high-energy, agile team committed to helping clients build long-term sustainable businesses. You will work with leading financial institutions to deliver outcomes on climate and sustainability issues. You will interact with EY colleagues globally and work across sectors and activities.
Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager candidates with Auditing, Data & Analytics or Regulatory experience to help clients respond to sustainability issues. Key service areas include:
* Sustainability reporting and assurance
* Sustainability Data and Implementation
* Sustainability strategy
* Climate and Nature change risk
* Carbon measurement and management
* ESG advisory
* Responsible investment
Your key responsibilities:
* Assist clients to identify, measure, and manage business and reporting risks as they respond to changing environmental regulations and sustainability management trends.
* Contribute to the growth and development of the CCaSS practice by taking operational responsibility and accountability for engagement team support and delivery.
Skills and qualifications
We are looking for Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager candidates with Auditing, Data & Analytics or Regulatory experience.

Qualifications:
* 2–4 years of relevant sustainability/ESG experience at a blue-chip firm, sustainability consultancy, investment firm or related organisation
* Interest in ESG as it relates to financial services (banking, wealth and asset management, insurance, and/or private equity)
* Understanding of topics covered in the team
* Risk management and modelling experience
* Strong academic record with a relevant degree
* Experience running or contributing to a range of projects
