Our goal is to support our team of caregivers in delivering compassionate and professional care that enables individuals to maintain active and fulfilling lifestyles.ResponsibilitiesConduct care supervision visits and risk assessmentsOnboarding of new customers including detailed Care Plans & risk assessmentsOnboarding of new health care assistants including training and assessmentsEvaluate and monitor the quality of care delivered to customersPrepare, review and update customers’ care plans in collaboration with the Care ManagerReact in a timely manner to any issues that arise and support their resolutionCreate a harmonious working environment and proactively manage conflicts as they ariseSupport the Care Coordinator on the holiday schedule for staff whilst maintaining required levels of service provisionDevelop and maintain a relationship with customers based on honesty and trustAssist with other duties as delegated by the Management Team including HCA dutiesEnsure Incident reports are completed in a timely mannerEnsure Carer Competency Assessments are updated as requiredReport to the Branch Manager for any complaints on daily basis and if dealt personally, please communicate the full description by the end of the dayAdditional Client/Care Team ActivitiesClient reviews on a quarterly basisHealth Care Assistant mentoring and guidanceSupport and On-Call during out of hoursProviding a high standard of care in compliance with InisCare PoliciesEnsuring dignity, privacy and independence is maintained and always respected when delivering careQualificationsQQI Level 6 Health Care Award or equivalent /or working towardsFull Clean Driver’s license & access to own vehicleChildren’s First – HSE LANDSafeguarding – HSE LANDDementia Training – HSE LANDGDPR Training – HSE LANDAMRIC Basics of Infection Prevention and Control – HSE LANDAMRIC Hand Hygiene – HSE LANDPutting on and taking off PPE in Community Healthcare- HSE LANDSkills: Basic patient care (bathing, dressing, feeding); Assisting with mobility and exercise; Effective verbal and written communication & Active listening; Following instructions and protocols; Providing companionship and emotional support; Familiarity with healthcare equipment and devices; Time management and task prioritization; Fluent English; Excellent PC skills including Microsoft OfficeCompetencies: Empathy and compassion; Understanding and responding to emotional needs; Effective teamwork within a healthcare team; Supporting colleagues and positive team environment; Adaptability to changing needs and environments; Willingness to learn new skills and procedures; Attention to detail in observing and reporting; Physical stamina for demanding tasks; Reliability, punctuality and Professional appearance and demeanour; Ethical standards and confidentiality adherence; Problem-solving and critical thinkingExperience: Extensive and reputable experience in a healthcare environmentBenefitsCompetitive salary – € 37,128.00Mileage paid at €0.44 per km or use of a company vehicleRefer-a-Friend Program – €150.00 per referralCareer Progression Plan and guidanceOngoing training and professional development opportunities including QQI Level courses & CPR TrainingSupportive work environment with a focus on employee well-beingOpportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of customersHours of work4 or 3 days per week12-hour shifts, 84 hours FortnightlyEvery second weekendYou must be available 8 am-9 pmEqual Opportunity Employer StatementWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
