Project Cost Manager Job
Our organization seeks an experienced Project Cost Manager to oversee various construction projects in Cork. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing budgets, evaluating tenders, and overseeing contracts and expenditures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project evaluations to ensure accurate financial projections.
* Conduct thorough tender analysis and manage procurement processes to secure the best value for projects.
* Oversee contracts to guarantee compliance with agreed terms and ensure successful project delivery.
* Monitor project progress, manage variations, and control costs to maintain profitability.
* Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders to ensure transparency and trust.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, such as Construction Management or Engineering.
* At least 2 years of relevant experience in construction or consultancy, with expertise in cost management software and MS Office Suite.
* Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of Irish construction regulations is advantageous, but not required.
