Job Summary
Global MNC Tech, a leading multinational in the biotechnology sector, is seeking a meticulous and motivated Part-Time Lab Technician Assistant to support our research and laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will assist senior scientists and lab technicians in conducting experiments, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and execution of laboratory experiments under the guidance of senior lab technicians.
Maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory equipment and instruments.
Prepare reagents, media, and chemical solutions accurately according to protocols.
Record experimental data and maintain organized lab notebooks and documentation.
Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards within the laboratory.
Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and report shortages or discrepancies.
Support sample collection, processing, and storage as required.
Participate in troubleshooting experimental procedures and lab processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or related field.
Basic understanding of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in experimental work.
Proficiency in recording and interpreting data.
Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) strictly.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Experience
Previous laboratory experience (academic or professional) is preferred but not mandatory.
Exposure to biotech or life sciences lab environments is advantageous.
Internship or training experience in research labs will be considered a plus.
Working Hours
Part-time position: 20–25 hours per week.
Flexible schedule, with availability for mornings or afternoons depending on lab requirements.
Some occasional weekend hours may be required depending on project deadlines.

Strong analytical and observational skills.
Ability to handle delicate experiments and sensitive equipment.
Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols (PPE usage, chemical handling, waste disposal).
