About the Role
Brightwater are partnering exclusively with a global financial services firm that recently set up in Ireland. As they expand, they need an experienced Payroll Manager who will report directly to the HR Director. This is a hybrid role; you will need to be in their Dublin office at least 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
* Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing across Ireland, UK, Germany, and Luxembourg, ensuring seamless multi‑jurisdictional compliance.
* Guide HR and finance teams with expert advice on gross‑to‑net payroll calculations and monthly/yearly provider filings.
* Conduct audits and reconciliations to uphold payroll accuracy and align with local regulations.
* Address escalated pay issues and monitor regulatory shifts to refine processes and enhance employee satisfaction.
* Collaborate with HR, vendors, and auditors to implement and test payroll systems, ensuring robust data integrity.
* Lead payroll consolidation projects and integrate systems like Workday, driving efficiency across the organization.
Skills & Experience
* 5‑8 years of payroll expertise in multi‑country settings, with proficiency in Workday or ADP systems.
* Strong grasp of payroll tax laws and compliance requirements across diverse jurisdictions.
* Excellent communication abilities to lead discussions and train teams effectively.
* Experience optimizing processes while maintaining strict internal controls and risk management.
* IPASS Diploma or Data Protection Certificate required
Compensation & Benefits
€85,000‑€110,000 plus bonus and an excellent benefits package.
