We are seeking a Social Care Team Lead to support the Person in Charge in overseeing day-to-day operations within a residential disability service. This includes ensuring regulatory compliance, staff supervision, service quality, and the delivery of person-centred care. This is permanent full-time (40 hours per week) contract located in Kildare. Leadership & Oversight Provide daily supervision, guidance, and performance oversight to frontline staff. Manage staff rosters, resource use, and volunteer engagement to support service delivery. Person-Centred Support Oversee the development and implementation of personalised support plans. Ensure individuals are treated with dignity, respect, and supported in decision-making. Coordinate care reviews, health appointments, and community participation. Quality, Safety & Compliance Support adherence to HIQA regulations, organisational policies, and health & safety standards. Lead local health and safety initiatives, audits, and incident management processes. Oversee accurate record-keeping, medication management, and financial controls. Staff Development Facilitate induction, training, coaching, and ongoing development of staff. Identify training needs and evaluate outcomes to improve service quality. Promote an open, learning-focused environment. Communication & Advocacy Foster respectful communication with service users, families, and stakeholders. Chair staff and resident meetings, contributing to a collaborative environment. Essential: QQI Level 7 (or equivalent) in Social Care or relevant Health/Social Care discipline. Minimum 2 years in a management/supervisory role. Minimum 3 years experience in disability or social care services. A full drivers licence and access to own vehicle is an essential requirement Strong knowledge of HIQA standards, safeguarding, person-centred practices, and risk management.
