We are seeking Chartered Electrical Engineers with experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design. You should have knowledge of electrical design (LV and HV systems), motor control centres/switchgear, electrical installations and systems within industrial/process environment, HAZOP assessments, DSEAR/ATEX installation practice, production of SLD/BCD's, earthing and bonding, and familiarity with current UK design standards, including industry-specific standards and working practices.
As a successful candidate, you will work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver high-quality technical design work following relevant design standards and codes. You will also manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes, adhere to quality assurance standards in design, and contribute to briefs, scopes of work, and bid proposals. Your skills will include proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following local and national guidance. E.g., electrical design software such as Trimble/Amtech.
