Dublin West - Hybrid (2 days office based)
Position Overview
The Financial Accountant will report to the Finance Manager and form part of the Ireland Finance team, supporting the continued growth of the EMEA business.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and provide commentary on all accounts within areas of responsibility to support month-end and quarterly reporting
Prepare monthly journal entries for review by the Finance Manager
Provide supplementary information to support quarterly and annual reporting
Prepare financial statements for relevant entities
Support the financial accounting team during external and internal auditsCoordinate with tax advisors and third-party providers
Perform testing on new projects and system setups in a test environment and report findings to senior management
Assist with ad hoc month-end queries
Provide support and analysis to senior management as required
The Person
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, organised problem solver who is highly motivated and capable of working independently with limited supervision.
They will demonstrate strong integrity, a solid understanding of finance functions, and the ability to enforce processes effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
They should be adaptable, team-oriented, and capable of delivering both individual and team objectives in a structured manner.

Experience
Newly qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA)
Experience in a fast-paced, multinational environment
Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX is advantageous
Experience with SAP is highly desirable
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
