An established medium sized contractor based in County Galway, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager/Directorto lead its commercial function. This is a key leadership role with strong influence over business strategy, project delivery, and commercial performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all commercial activities across multiple construction projects. Manage cost control, forecasting, procurement, and contract administration. Support tendering, bid management, and business development with accurate commercial input. Provide strategic commercial leadership to the project teams and company directors. Mentor and manage junior QS staff and promote best-practice processes. Ensure strong client relationships and successful commercial outcomes. Requirements 10+ years experience as a QS or Commercial Manager within main contracting. Proven ability to lead commercial operations in an SME or fast-paced project environment. Strong contractual, negotiation, financial, and leadership capabilities. Relevant QS or construction-related degree qualification.
