Job Title: HR Policy Manager

As HR Policy Manager, you will report to the Group Head of Employee Relations, Policy and Reward. Your role involves leading the development, review, and implementation of HR policies to ensure they reflect best practices and support the ESB Net Zero Strategy and HR Business Plan.
The HR Policy Manager will consult with HR colleagues, specialists, and key stakeholders, overseeing the review and development of HR policies to ensure legislative compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a comprehensive framework of HR policies for ESB:
1. Lead reviews of current HR policies
2. Develop and produce HR policies and processes
3. Coordinate with HR stakeholders to communicate and implement policies effectively
* Ensure policies comply with legislative requirements
* Provide strategic insights on policy directions to the HR Senior Leadership team
* Keep policies up-to-date with latest developments in people management
* Ensure policies are practical and monitor their implementation through audits and metrics
* Collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders
Experience and Qualifications
* Relevant degree or equivalent, CIPD qualification or similar experience
* At least 7 years of related experience
* Deep knowledge of employment policies, practices, and law
* Proven success in HR policy implementation within large organizations
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
* Good time management and organizational skills
* Commitment to ESB's core values and ethical principles
* Knowledge of Irish, NI, EU, and UK employment legislation
* Experience in process and project management
Location
This role is based at Fitzwilliam 27, ESB Head Office, Dublin, with flexible working arrangements subject to approval.

Salary Range: €69,500 - €81,800 per annum, depending on experience.
