We are currently recruiting an experienced and dependable HGV Mechanic to join our team on a permanent basis in Lusk, Dublin.ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other depot equipment.Carry out inspections and scheduled maintenance in accordance with company and manufacturer specifications.Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repair calls to minimize downtime.Accurately complete all maintenance documentation and service reports.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.Collaborate with depot and transport teams to ensure efficient vehicle availability.Follow all Health & Safety and environmental procedures in compliance with RSA and company standards.RequirementsMinimum 4 years' experience in a similar mechanical or transport maintenance role.National Craft Certificate in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (SOLAS) or Advanced Craft Certificate (FETAC Level 6) preferred.Full Irish Category B licence (essential); Category C or CE licence an advantage.Proven experience with HGVs, trailers, and material-handling equipment.Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work on-call and handle urgent repairs when required.Eligible to work in Ireland.Good communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €31,733.62-€63,259.76 per yearBenefits:FlexitimeWork Location: In person
