Job Title: IT Desktop Support Technician

Job Requirements:
Technical Skills
* Minimum 3 years of experience providing IT infrastructure support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and OS issues, ensuring compliance with hardware warranties and security policies.
• Experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktops, printers, laptops, and peripherals, as well as desktop applications.
* Basic knowledge of LAN and WAN setups. Ability to perform hands-on activities at client sites under instruction.
* Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs.
* Proficiency in desk-side support and PC repair, including basic administration of Windows, macOS, and Linux (preferred).
* Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
* Support for peripherals and network hardware such as monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, and racks under 'Smart Hands' services.
• Troubleshooting system and network issues using deductive reasoning and resolving end-user network cabling problems.
• Experience in call analysis and preventive measures, problem management.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with clients and management.
* Ability to meet deadlines, work proactively, and handle tasks with urgency.
* Preferably an Associate Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification.
• Vendor certifications from OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP) are a plus.
* Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Remedy.
