Main Purpose of the Role
This role supports emergency service fleet operations by ensuring their vehicles remain safe, compliant, and ready to respond. You'll coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, monitor system alerts, and liaise with both customers and external service providers to minimise downtime.
Key Responsibilities
* Support customer service agents with scheduling vehicle and equipment repairs and maintenance
* Monitor ACETECH systems to ensure fleet availability meets agreed service levels
* Proactively manage and track vehicle defects, scheduling timely repairs
* Handle incoming and outgoing service calls with professionalism and efficiency
* Liaise with external vendors to complete maintenance quickly and correctly
* Maintain accurate fleet records, ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulations
* Update customers on progress of vehicles undergoing service or repair
* Support data entry, reporting, and system updates to ensure accurate records
* Adhere to company protocols and data protection requirements
Required Skills
* Strong customer service focus and clear communication style
* Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Highly organised, reliable, and attentive to detail
* Comfortable using IT systems (Microsoft Office, Jira, or similar ticketing software)
* Strong numerical and administrative ability
* Capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines
* Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or the motor trade an advantage
* Demonstrated reliability and accountability within team settings
