About the Role
Our client, a well-established coffee business based in South County Dublin, is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead their field service and technical support function. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on technical professional with strong leadership skills and experience working with commercial coffee equipment.
The successful candidate will oversee the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial coffee machines while mentoring and supporting a team of field technicians. The role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the continued growth and development of a busy technical operations team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial coffee machines and associated equipment
Lead, train, mentor, and support a team of field service technicians
Diagnose technical faults and ensure efficient issue resolution
Coordinate service schedules and maintain accurate service records
Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams
Work closely with operations and sales teams to ensure high service standards
Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality procedures at all times
Support ongoing improvements across technical operations and customer service delivery
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience servicing commercial coffee machines or similar equipment
Strong hands‑on experience in fault finding, repair, and preventative maintenance
Experience with brands such as La Marzocco, Rancilio, Gaggia, Cimbali, or similar
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
