Utilities Engineer - Facilities & Soft Services - Ireland, Dublin - 12 Months
One of the top 10 best companies to work for in Ireland is looking for a Utilities Engineer for their large-scale new facility in Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to work on a fast-paced, €1 billion project with cutting-edge technology.
Responsibilities
* Manage GxP and non-GxP related Service Provider contracts supporting Site Operations.
* Through Service Providers, keep the facility in a GMP state and audit-ready.
* Conduct safety, quality and non-quality related investigations associated with service delivery from Service Providers.
* Provide Facilities technical support and oversight to the site projects team.
* Budget management and optimization of services delivered.
* Sanitation and cleaning of production areas, labs and support areas as required.
* Pest Control for production areas and non-production areas.
* Laundry and delivery of garbing for production and non-production areas.
* Catering provision in the restaurant and break areas across the site.
* Security systems including access control and CCTV.
* Lab supplies and lab services support.
* General maintenance, including but not limited to: automatic doors, CCTV and access control, new construction projects, renovation or upgrading of existing buildings, warehousing and commercial office buildings, gas boilers and utilities, HVAC.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's (Level 8) in Science/Engineering discipline.
* Extensive experience providing technical expertise on an operating site.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; understanding, implementing, and monitoring regulatory and safety guidelines applicable to the pharmaceutical industry.
* GMP experience and GMP manufacturing environment exposure required.
* Safety knowledge.
* Strong project management skills (budget tracking, schedule development and adherence, project reporting, etc.).
* Experience managing senior stakeholders and coordinating delivery via service providers.
* Demonstrated communication, administrative and leadership skills with the ability to work well with other departments and lead in a team environment.
