Based out of our Kill office (Co. Kildare), the successful candidate will report to the Team Leader on all aspects of the position and will be an integral part of our wider Wholesale Commercial team.
About the role
As a Broker Support Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Wholesale broker network, ensuring seamless policy administration, and delivering exceptional service standards. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a passion for customer service in the insurance sector.
The successful candidate will have the ability to progress within the department and take on additional role responsibilities such handling client accounts within a relatively progressive period of time.
Key Responsibilities:

At all times to follow good practice in ensuring the client's best interests are served.

Assist Account Executives with all administration and support functions in a timely manner:- preparation of submissions, input of data, scanning of documents, issue of documents, mid-term adjustments, finance, carry out functions as requested by Account Executive, screen calls and direct to correct Executive.

Liaise with Commercial Credit Controller on finance issues as required
*
Support brokers with policy administration, documentation, and system queries.
*
Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and within agreed SLAs.
*
Communicate with underwriting and claims teams to resolve queries and escalate issues where necessary.

Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with Central Bank of Ireland regulations.

Handle inbound broker queries via phone and email with professionalism and efficiency.

Aptitude for learning involves specifically working towards an insurance qualification over a specified period of time, with APA Commercial achieved within 12 months.

1-2 years previous experience in an administration role desirable.
