We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Management Accountant to join our clients team on an initial 7-month contract, based onsite in Tallaght. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in day-to-day finance operations while supporting ongoing projects, including an ERP implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Produce monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports, along with all supporting reconciliations.
Provide support across general cost accounting and financial analysis activities.
Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist the Accounts Payable function to ensure all expenses are recorded correctly and purchase order records are maintained.
Prepare and file VAT returns, VIES declarations, and Intrastat reports in line with regulatory requirements.
Complete required CRO surveys and statutory submissions.
Generate and circulate weekly and monthly sales reports.
Support inventory processes, including participation in monthly and annual stock counts.
Contribute to year-end close activities and assist during the annual audit process.
Provide support to the Finance Manager and cover for other team members when needed.
Take part in ERP implementation activities, including workshops and system testing, acting as a finance subject matter expert.
Carry out additional duties as required within the scope of the Management Accountant role.
