They have a vacancy for a Group Financial Controller to oversee their finance function. The Financial Controller will support the management team achieve their strategic and business objectives. Group Financial Controller The role will involve the following: Managing the day-to-day finance function Overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts & KPI reports for the Board Completion of annual budgets, forecasts and 3 year rolling business plans Management and development of the finance team Ensure Costing & inventory valuations are accurate Managing Treasury, Cashflow & Banking Management and development of the finance team Manage VAT & Duty compliance for Group companies Provide support to the Directors to enable strategic decision making Ensure organisation is compliant with Taxation and Statutory obligations Year-end Audit Ongoing development and review internal controls and financial policies Implementation and continuous improvement of current information systems Ad hoc projects including acquisition support Candidate Profile Ideal candidate will have a number of years experience within a quality well run business. Role will suit a pro-active candidate who is comfortable interacting at senior levels within a business. Candidate should be a qualified accountant, with excellent IT and inter-personal skills and a pro-active can do attitude.
