Child Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team. As a specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessments to children referred through our network.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to determine outcomes and present findings and recommendations. Your role will include conducting Assessment of Need (AON) evaluations, working alongside other clinicians, and participating in team meetings.

In this position, you will oversee the feedback process and hold responsibility for the final sign-off of the Summary Report. You will also have the autonomy to manage your own clinical work while collaborating closely within the team.

To be successful in this role, you must have a university degree or diploma in Psychology and an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology. Alternatively, you may have an equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with children with disabilities, a strong understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration and family-centred practice, and proven ability to support individuals with Autism.
