Principal Project Manager – Civil and Environmental Engineering
Overview
Fehily Timoney and Company (FT) is one of Ireland's largest indigenous consultancies, specialising in Sustainable Infrastructure, Circular Economy, Environment, Energy and Renewables.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead civil and environmental design team to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective project delivery
* Supervise, mentor, and support the development of senior and junior staff
* Prepare high-standard technical reports and tender documentation
* Plan and manage design activities in close collaboration with Project Directors
* Ensure all work complies with internal quality assurance processes and relevant health and safety regulations
* Coordinate effectively with other team members across disciplines
* Manage client relationships and maintain clear, consistent project communications
Requirements
* Degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or related discipline, with Chartered Engineer status
* Minimum of 15 years' post-graduate experience in design and project management
* Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary design teams
* Strong experience in engaging with clients, external stakeholders and sub-consultants
* Proficient in developing and managing project budgets
* Energetic and driven professional with excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills
* Adaptable and collaborative, with a strong team-oriented approach
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently and efficiently
* Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings as required
