Galway with the appointment of a Senior Accountant.This is a full-time, permanent position within a technically strong, systems-driven practice that supports a diverse portfolio of Irish businesses and places real emphasis on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.The roleAs Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of client deliverables while working closely with the Partner and senior team to maintain high technical standards across the practice. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to ongoing systems and process enhancements.Key responsibilities include:Preparation and review of statutory accounts and management accountsOversight of VAT, payroll, and related compliance workProviding clear, technically sound advice to clientsSupporting improvements in systems, workflows, and automationSupervising and developing junior team membersCandidate requirementsACA / ACCA / CPA qualifiedMinimum 3 years' post-qualification experience within an Irish accountancy practiceStrong technical knowledge of Irish accounting standards and complianceExcellent organisational and communication skillsWhat's on offer Oranmore, Co.
