Securitas Security Services Ireland are currently recruiting a Site Security Night Team Lead for our client based in Leixlip, Co. Kildare
The Site Security Night Team Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and line management of supervisors and staff on site. They will ensure the operational effectiveness of the Security Operations Centre and of the rest of the onsite team. They will be the first point of escalation with the client, chairing weekly meetings with the client and other members of regional/global sites. The team lead will be responsible for ensuring that all posts are covered and rostered timings are adhered to, and supervisors and officers are at the required standard. They oversee staff training ensuring they are adequately equipped for their roles. The Site Security Team Lead will uphold Securitas Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
Key Responsibilities
* Staff Performance and Safety - Ensure supervisor and officer performance is meeting required standards using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and appraisals. Ensure proper uniforms, PPE, compliance. Conduct post audits and maintain procedural documentation.
* Security Operations - Plan and manage security operations and special events such as site/VIP events.
* Learning and Development - Plan exercises for all shifts, update procedures, and integrate lessons learned. Work with management to create training and learning exercises.
* Continuous Improvement - Advocate for and implement process enhancements.
* Supporting Client and Security Management - Acting as a liaison between clients and security team. Planning and chairing weekly meetings with the client.
* Updating Documents - Maintaining and updating documents such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Assignment Instructions (AIs).
* BCP Creation - Creation of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).
* Engaging in Continuous Learning - Staying updated with best practices and standards through ongoing learning and training.
* Develop, Facilitate and Deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR's) and assist Securitas Management in building out quality systems/auditing processes and industry best practice.
* Produce Accurate and Concise reports when required and understand clearly when escalation of reports is required. Display sound judgment and understanding as to where such reports should be directed.
* Maintain Training Matrix for all supervisors and officers assigned, identifying any gaps in skill sets or specific training requirements.
