Smyth's Homevalue is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Goods Outwards Order Packer to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that orders are packed correctly, efficiently, and on time, providing excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable, and able to take ownership of the role while working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Accurate Order Packing – Pick and pack goods efficiently to meet order requirements.
· Attention to Detail – Ensure all items are correctly packed, labelled, and prepared for dispatch.
· Time Management – Work effectively to meet daily shipping deadlines.
· Communication – Liaise with different departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any order-related queries.
· Ownership & Initiative – Take responsibility for the role, ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
· Work Ethic & Reliability – Arrive on time and be committed to maintaining a high level of performance.
· Stock Management – Assist in maintaining an organized and tidy packing area.
Requirements:
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
· Ability to work independently and take initiative.
· Good communication skills to liaise with different departments.
· Hardworking and reliable with a positive attitude.
· Physically fit to handle packing and lifting tasks as required.
· Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
