Associate Director
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director – Tax to join their leadership team in Cork City. This senior role offers the opportunity to deliver high-impact tax consultancy and advisory services across a broad range of industries, while also contributing to the strategic growth and leadership of the tax function.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver expert tax consultancy and advisory services across multiple sectors.
Develop and implement tailored tax planning strategies for corporate and individual clients.
Prepare and present detailed tax planning reports to clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal departments and external advisors to provide integrated, client-focused solutions.
Conduct ongoing tax research and monitor legislative developments affecting clients.
Train, mentor, and support the development of junior and mid-level tax professionals.
Review, supervise, and ensure the quality and accuracy of work delivered by the tax team.
Lead complex tax consultancy projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
Identify new business opportunities and support strategic business development initiatives.
Assist in managing the operations of the Cork tax department, including WIP, billing, debt collection, and resource planning.
Candidate Requirements:
CTA-qualified (Chartered Tax Adviser) essential.
An additional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA/ACCA) is desirable but not essential.
Strong technical knowledge across multiple tax heads.
Minimum of 2 years' experience at a senior level in tax consultancy and advisory services.
Proven ability to lead, delegate, and manage teams in a fast-paced professional services environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated success in project management and delivering complex tax engagements.
Strong commercial acumen and client relationship-building ability.
