As our business continues to grow, we are now seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Accounts Assistant to join our busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with strong organisational skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
In this collaborative and supportive workplace, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, supporting management with accurate data, and ensuring smooth financial processes across the company.

Key Responsibilities
* Process purchase invoices, sales invoices and credit notes accurately and on time.
* Assist with bank reconciliations and supplier reconciliations.
* Support month‑end and year‑end procedures.
* Manage accounts inbox, responding to queries from suppliers, customers and internal teams.
* Monitor outstanding balances and assist with credit control when required.
* Maintain accurate financial records in line with internal QA procedures.
* Assist the finance team with ad‑hoc tasks as needed in a busy and dynamic environment.
Requirements
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in an accounts role within a busy office or finance environment.
* Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent organisation and communication abilities.
* Knowledge of Sage (advantage).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills & Experience
* Accounts Technician qualification or working towards one (advantage but not required).
* Experience with accounting software, reconciliations, and finance administration.
* Strong problem‑solving ability and willingness to learn.
* Reporting manager is a fellow of the ACCA and Accounting Technicians Ireland.
