Position: Electrical Estimator Location: Waterford Industry: Electrical Contracting (Commercial / Industrial / Residential) Role Overview The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects.
This role supports tendering, pricing, and project handover, working closely with project managers, suppliers, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates for tenders and negotiated projects Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents Perform quantity take-offs for materials, labour, and plant Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations Price variations and value engineering options Maintain and update cost databases and pricing schedules Assist with tender submissions and clarifications Liaise with project managers during handover and throughout the project lifecycle Monitor costs and assist with post-tender reviews Skills
