Hotel Financial Management Role
The role of the financial controller is pivotal in ensuring that all hotel properties operate efficiently and effectively. The position oversees all financial operations, including accounting, management reporting, and cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overall responsibility for accounting and statutory compliance across all properties;
* Presentation and oversight of budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and management reports;
* Cash flow management; cost control; working capital; asset/liability reconciliation;
* Maintenance of strong internal controls to safeguard hotel assets;
* Provision of expert advice on finance matters to General Managers and Company Directors.
Pivotal skills for this role include a Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent qualifications in finance/accounting. Additionally experience within an upscale hospitality environment with commercial awareness is vital.
The team lead will possess analytical organisational communication decision-making skills. Additional requirements are fluency English written spoken legal eligibility work Ireland.
