We are recruiting for a Live Senior Broadcast Operator to deliver a part-time onsite role, working with live operational broadcast teams across a number of production galleries.This is a fixed-term role expiring on 31st December 2026.This is a part-time position requiring a guaranteed 24 and up to 30 hours, typically across three days each week, each parliamentary sitting week (this is a term-time only role).This role is a senior operational role with responsibilities to direct live operations in a multi-camera setup and other production roles including vision mixing, robotic camera operations, and other associated gallery functions.Candidates should have:Good understanding of and experience of working in a live broadcasting environmentAbility to work on own initiativeGood team working skills and the ability to lead other production gallery team membersTechnical understanding and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsExcellent organisational and time management skillsA calm attitude and ability to work responsively in a dynamic, live environmentAn interest in new and emerging broadcast technologiesStrong attention to detail and qualityA minimum of three years' experience of directing live, multi-camera operations in a TV / AV environment is an essential criterion for this role.Strongly desirable criteria include wider production and broadcasting skillsets and capabilities, including ENG camera operations, audio engineering, AV, streaming, EVS, LiveU, vMix, etc.A competency-based assessment and interview will form part of the selection process for this appointment.The salary range for this role will be €55,000 - €70,000 per annum prorated, based on skills and experience.Benefits include overtime pay, Cycle to Work Scheme, Taxsaver Ticket Commuter Scheme, and eyesight tests.Citizenship Requirement Eligible candidates must be:A citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA).
