Automation Technical Lead - Biopharma Engineering
We are recruiting for an experienced Automation Technical Lead to join a leading global pharmaceutical client based in Limerick.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of process engineering design and control system design in the pharmaceutical industry. The role involves working closely with process engineers, operations representatives, and system integrator engineers to deliver automation solutions that meet the client's requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of technical standards and work processes for automation projects.
* Oversee the work and work products produced by system integrator engineers, including module templates, phase templates, and procedural designs.
* Collaborate with system integrator engineers and developers to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
* Technical coach/mentor the client's automation area leads.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in biopharma engineering, operations, or manufacturing.
* Experience in Delta V control system design and instrumentation knowledge preferred.
* Demonstrated technical leadership and teamwork abilities.
* Knowledge of GMPs, regulatory requirements, and computer system validation.
