We are seeking a dedicated candidate Healthcare Assistant - HCA to join our team in providing personalized care and support to individuals living in our Nursing Home based in Co Kildare.
This is a full-time, permanent position, based on a 39-hour working week Responsibilities Assist residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and maintaining personal hygiene.
Provide emotional support, companionship, and reassurance to promote residents' wellbeing and quality of life.
Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning, ensuring safe moving and handling practices at all times.
Encourage independence and help maintain a comfortable, safe, and homely living environment for residents.
Assist residents during mealtimes, supporting nutrition and hydration in line with individual care plans.
Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to implement personalised care plans.
Accurately document care delivered, observations made, and any changes in residents' condition, reporting concerns promptly.
Requirements Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant is desirable; however, applications are also welcome from candidates with a genuine interest in developing a career in healthcare.

Relevant healthcare assistant qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
