As our Sales Development Representative, Deel IT, UKI, you will play a crucial role in entering new accounts and building relationships with multiple contacts across target customer segments. You will collaborate with the wider sales team, conduct market research to identify new potential customers and leads, and qualify these leads by learning about their onboarding approach.
Responsibilities
* Drive Deel's growth through inbound and outbound prospecting, generating sales leads that become opportunities and closed business.
* Learn from our seasoned sales team and help build out our Sales Playbook and Tech Stack.
* Educate and develop leads via phone, email, events, webinars, and other campaigns.
* Identify and understand each lead generation process, supporting marketing activities, prospect touchpoints, and the handoff to an Account Executive.
* Generate email sequences and make cold calls to map and penetrate accounts.
* Conduct follow-up calls and emails until meetings are scheduled.
Requirements
* Full professional proficiency in English
* 1–2 years of experience in a sales development or similar outbound role
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, remote team environment
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn
* Ability to work autonomously and self-source solutions
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a quota-carrying role
* Experience with CRM systems and sales engagement tools is a plus
* Entrepreneurial spirit / growth mindset
* Strong written communication, capable of creating effective email copy and sequences
* Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
* Active relationship builder who can collaborate with internal and external teams to improve processes
* Experience in HR or Fintech is preferred; experience at a fast-growing startup and remote/distributed teams is preferred
